March 25th - Ohop Creek Volunteer Work Party
Please join the Nisqually Indian Tribe’s Natural Resources Dept. and the Nisqually River Foundation for a volunteer work party along Ohop Creek near Eatonville. We will be removing plant protection tubes from an established salmon recovery planting. Bring rain gear and appropriate footwear – gloves, tools and refreshments will be provided. These are very wet sites so please wear knee-high rubber boots if possible. A brief shuttle ride will be required due to limited access to the planting site – please RSVP for directions
