October 14th - Honor Walk Treaty Fishing Rights Struggle
50 years ago the right to fish on the rivers for the Native people of this land became a fight with the State. State Game Wardens were brought in to stop the Native people from fishing on their own U and A grounds. There were some individuals who fought the State for the right to maintain our way of life and fish on our rivers. This walk is in Honor of those individuals.
