On behalf of the Nisqually Indian Tribal Council, the Nisqually Tribal Third-Party Election Auditor, Honest Ballot, is pleased to announce important information for the upcoming 2021 Special Tribal Election cycle:

Only persons who intend to nominate someone, second a nomination, or be nominated may enter in order to limit the spread of COVID-19
Special Election
Saturday, July 10, 2021

9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
REQUESTS FOR ABSENTEE BALLOTS MUST BE RECEIVED BY JUNE 20, 2021. Information for how to return the absentee ballot requests is located on the absentee ballot request from, which will be made available at the Tribal Center, on the Nisqually website, and at the Special Nomination meeting on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at the Billy Frank Jr. Gymnasium at 10 A.M.
Open positions in the 2021 Special Election Cycle:
- Interim 7th Tribal Council Member – Serves Rest of Vacant Term (until 2022 Election)
- Interim 6th Enrollment Committee Member – Serves Rest of Vacant Term (until 2022 Election)
