McAllister Wellfield water marks new chapter for Olympia and Nisqually Tribe

Olympia is approaching the final transition to a new regional source of drinking water.

Since 1949, most of the city’s drinking water has come from McAllister Springs, located on Nisqually tribal land.

Please join the City of Olympia and the Nisqually Tribe as we dedicate the McAllister Wellfield.  This historic event celebrates 20 years of collaboration to establish this legacy water source.


Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 10a.m. to Noon.


Directions
From Tribe:  Head west on Highway 510 approximately 2.5 miles; entrance to the event is on the right across from Thornton Rd SE.
