The Nisqually Indian Tribe and City of Lacey gathered for a signing ceremony of a historic Accord in Olympia.

“The Nisqually Indian Tribe and the City of Lacey are neighbors,” stated Cynthia Iyall, Chair of the Nisqually Indian Tribe. “This agreement builds upon an existing relationship—strengthening the ties between our two communities.” Andy Ryder, Lacey Mayor, agreed, stating that “Our City is not so much defined by boundaries on a map, but by the relationships we build with the partners in our community. Together we can accomplish great things.”
