Join the Squalli Absch Relay for Life Team!
The Squalli Absch Relay for Life team is open to all Nisqually community – we are cancer survivors, family members, family who have lost loved ones to cancer, and friends who want to show support! Throughout the year, the Squalli Absch team meets regularly – we are planning fundraisers and other fun activities as we prepare for the annual Relay for Life Thurston County event through the American Cancer Society, usually at the end of June.
In 2023, our team held a garage sale that raised $2,522 and was a huge hit in the community! As a team, we raised a total of $11,002!!! Other activities included a night with health food with our Dietitian, participating in the Relay pre-season walk, and a luncheon with the ACS.
And our team loves being able to come together to support one another – we share health cancer prevention and cancer management food and other resources.
