Community Dinner

Open to Nisqually Tribal Members and the Tribal Community.


The Nisqually Parks Commission and the Nisqually Language Resource Center invites you to a Community Art Workshop and an Informational Introduction on the Honoring Our Ancestors Ceremony the Language Resource Center is planning for later this year.


Kim Deriana is leading the River Gateway project at Nisqually State Park and we need your assistance to create a gateway so that visitors know to respect the River. All ideas welcome! Design a salmon to be stamped into the pavers at the park, and learn sralifabS phrases for salmon! The Language Resource Center Staff will also have a survey to collect information sralifabS speaking ancestors to be honored at the upcoming ceremony.
