By using the sites, you agree to be bound by these Terms and to follow these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations governing the sites. The Nisqually Indian Tribe reserves the right to change these Terms at any time, effective immediately upon posting on the sites. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms, please do not use the sites. Our Terms of Use were developed as an extension of our commitment to combine quality services with integrity in dealing with our website users and/or members. The Terms are designed to assist you in understanding how we collect, use and safeguard the personal information you provide to us and to assist you in making informed decisions when using our website and our online service(s).


Permitted Use

Do not duplicate, publish, modify or otherwise distribute the material on the sites unless specifically authorized by the Nisqually Indian Tribe to do so. The content and software on the sites is the property of the Nisqually Indian Tribe and are protected by U.S. and international copyright law.

BY ACCESSING THE TRIBAL MEMBER AREA, YOU ARE ATTESTING THAT YOU ARE AN ENROLLED NISQUALLY TRIBAL MEMBER AND ARE ACCEPTING THE SITE’S TERMS OF USE. YOU REPRESENT THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD AND AGREED TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS, YOU MAY NOT ACCESS THE PASSWORD-PROTECTED AREAS OF THIS SITE.


Other Content on the Sites

The information contained in the sites, including images, illustrations, designs and photographs not contributed as personal information or User content are copyrights, trademarks and other intellectual property of the Nisqually Indian Tribe. The Nisqually Indian Tribe logo is a Service Mark and is the intellectual property of the Nisqually Indian Tribe. Copyright in any third-party materials found on the sites must also be respected.


Privacy

The Nisqually Indian Tribe through its sites, respects the privacy of individuals using these sites. In any instance where user information is requested, it is intended for the purposes of enhancing the user experience. Any user information that is acquired is not given to outside parties except where explicitly stated. Users are given the ability to "Opt Out" of any promotional campaigns that would result in the release of their information to outside parties.

 

The use of email or Internet forms for communication with the Tribe or any individual employee of the Tribe should not contain confidential or time-sensitive information. Do not send the Tribe any information or documentation that you consider private or confidential. Do not rely solely on the Internet forms or email for Tribal communication. Tribal contact phone, mailing and/or email addresses may be found on the appropriate page(s) throughout the Nisqually Indian Tribe website. By using the Internet forms or email you agree that the Tribe may review any information you transmit to us. ANY INFORMATION WHICH YOU MAY CONVEY TO THE NISQUALLY INDIAN TRIBE BY THE INTERNET OR BY E-MAIL MAY NOT BE SECURE.


What Information Do We Collect?

When you visit our sites you may provide us with two types of information, “Active” and “Passive”. Active Information - personal information you actively choose to disclose. Passive Information - use information collected, in a way not visible to you, on an aggregate anonymous basis as you and others who browse our website.


Prohibited Content

The following is a partial list of Content prohibited on the sites.

• Content promoting information that you know is false, misleading or promotes illegal activities or   
  conduct that is abusive, threatening, obscene, defamatory or libelous

The Nisqually Indian Tribe does not endorse the content of any third party site, nor can we warrant that they will not contain viruses or otherwise impact your computer. By using the sites to search for or link to another site, you agree and understand that you may not make any claim against The Nisqually Indian Tribe. for any damages or losses, whatsoever, resulting from your use of the site to obtain search results and/or to link to another site.

Official documents, policies, and laws are provided as a courtesy to the public.  Official, up-to-date, and verified versions should be obtained from the Tribal Council or the Office of the Tribal Attorney for any official use. The Nisqually Indian Tribe does not guarantee that the sites will be error-free, uninterrupted, nor that it will provide specific results from use of the sites or any content, search or link on them. The sites and their content are delivered on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.
